Projection - Task 1 Continued

Huseyin Hamit

As Leanne has stated below whilst looking at different angles, surfaces, reflections and shadows we documented the whole process and came up with various ideas. You will see below that I have also included a few snapshot images of some of these processes and a few short videos.

Surface Reflection

Here I found a mirror which had a star shape symbol on its surface and thought it would be a good idea to use this as a reflective surface to reflect the light and also compare the star shape which was cut out on the car with the star shape on the actual surface as you will see on the first image.

Background & Light

On the way back to class we took a quick snapshot of the projector whilst including the background scenery  since the main designs on the projector were abstract we thought the sky and tree's would also seem similar. As the cars passed by I tried to take the image so that you can see the beams of light reflecting towards us whilst also taking the picture from an angle to be able to see the light within the projector.

Shadows, Highlights and Colour

Since we found a dark place to experiment with our projector it was very useful due to being able to seeing the lights reflection much clearer. Below I have include a picture and video of the Shadows and highlights we tried to experiment with using our projector and surfaces around it. You can also find the colour experimentation video below this post which Leanne has recorded and posted.
